We develop our own software solutions
ECG Enterprise-level Service Monitoring
ECG is designed to be a robust and reliable service monitor, that can be highly-customised
to adapt to customer needs. The basic product solution incorporates a hub and spoke architecture built
on Eclipse technology. A central windows-based hub receives monitoring information from a range of agents that
are installed on remote servers. Service monitoring data can be captured from a wide range of software components
(such as MQ queue managers, DB2 databases, operating systems and Message Brokers) as well as custom-written
programs or scripts.
This is a low-cost and customisable monitoring solution. We charge
a fixed annual licensing fee of £15,000, which provides the client
with unlimited product use. This fee also includes regular product
upgrades and bolt-ons, so that over time the solution will provide
a complete service monitoring solution.
ECG Server Configuration
This software product is designed to capture detailed information about a server installation and configuration,
which can be used at any time to rebuild a complete server image via an automated batch program
and a central software store. Server configuration information can be plugged into an ECG monitor, to
provide a real-time database of server software and build levels. This is also a very useful and efficient tool for
disaster recovery.

We understand the layers of complexity
buried within MQSeries.
One of the secrets of MQSeries' success is that it hides the
complexities of socket programming, network service recovery,
syncpoint control and logging, O/S memory management and data
integration. However, these components are still buried beneath
the covers and can affect system performance, scalability, operability
and integrity.
We can fine-tune MQ queue managers and their associated objects to ensure the MQ infrastructure is able to meet the
demands of both current and future business.
