At it's peak the Companion system incorporated 7 distinct test environments and one high-availability Production environment, with approximately 150 queue managers, multiple MQ clusters, q-based data replication, HACMP, shared storage, B2B gateways (using SOAP, http and FTP adapters for MQ) and various levels of data encryption and authentication. <br><br> We built and delivered application servers on IBM P595 AIX LPARs. This work included designing filesystem layouts to support HACMP failover of MQ-base applications, installing and configuring infrastructure software (e.g. MQ v6.0.2.4, WBI/MB v6, Workflow v3.4, WAS, DB2, Java and xlC) and deploying application source code from Rational Clearcase.<br><br> Throughout our engagement on this project, we trained numerous IBM staff in both IBM software products and the Companion system. We helped to build a capability in India to support the EAI technical infrastructure.
